Not normally inclined to boat cruises, we were tempted by the beautiful morning. The scenery is beautiful and our captain, David knowledgeable and interesting. The trip was about an hour long and it showed the beauty of our country at its best.

You can board at Ashford pier or Lisloughry pier ...both in Cong...both well signposted. Also... You can take the boat trip across the lake at Oughterard and sail into Cong. Whichever direction you come from try and take the... More
