Very busy when we visited, but a pleasant place to walk around. A good selection of animals and all seemed happy. Take a picnic in high season as the restaurant was really busy and there were massive cues for the restaurant/ cafe. Not a place to spend all day, half a day was enough to see everything.

Lots of animals, activities and only a two minute walk away from the town center. For anyone camping or in a holiday home nearby I recommend visiting this zoo. Make sure you check the weather forecast first thou!

This place is amazing compared to English zoos! You can get up really close to lots of the animals! We petted and fed giraffes, elephants, ostriches, pelicans, zebras, rhinos and goats! The zoo sells snacks that are animal friendly and they're really good around people. It was a really fun day out!

The Zoo welcomes you with beautiful pink flamingo's in the entrance and you just have to go in to see what else is there. It doesn't look very big from outside but make sure you leave around 3 hours to see it all. you can find every animal you can imagine inside and some you never heard of - all... More

Great place. Been several times. If you have kids its wonderful, & if you don't, its still wonderful. Well laid out, lots of animals. Parrot show, sea lion show, petting zoo. Theres a food outlet there as well but we found it a bit basic & a bit more expensive than youd get for the same things elsewhere - so... More

The zoo is laid out within a pine forest, with some hills to walk up and down. There is a good collection of animals to view. The enclosures are well designed, the polar bear one being very impressive. However we weren't given a map of the park and sign posts were scarce apart from the numerous sens de la visite... More

This is a great zoo, well laid out easy to get round. The animals are housed so that it is easy to see them without too many bars and fences We did not know to buy popcorn, but do it. A kind Frenchman gave me some so that I could feed the elephant........I was in seventh heaven!!!

In full season it's best to arrive early to miss the queues, although there's plenty of parking. Most animals are in good sized areas but there are a few in less generous enclosures. It takes a good half day to go round the exhibits and there are regular free shows for the sea lions. There are polar bears, tigers and... More

We went on a very hot day which was a little overwhelming as difficult to find places just to sit down and certainly no in the shade. You can get really close to the giraffes and feed them with food bought on site. Great for children. The elephants are presumably also OK to feed, though it is less clear and... More
