This lovely beach is very big so you can find space for yourself to enjoy a peaceful visit. Good for families. Great surf to play in.

This is a large, very clean beach a with a pretty landscape. There are two lifeguards on duty, two bars/cafés, a medical point and kayak hire located on the beach. The area is best known for picturesque, smaller, rocky coves. Those are indeed beautiful, but...More

Beautiful beach great for young kids. Shallow, calm water. Also very clean. It was relatively crowded (obvious, it was august) but we could find a good spot. The restaurant was good for a quick lunch. I like that there is an area with pine trees...More

I walked to this beach from Palamos along the coastal path. It is a lovely walk but not for the fainthearted. The beach itself has car parking nearby, 2 bars for lunch (possibly evening too) and water sport facilities.

Great family beach perfect for non-swimmers and large enough to accommodate a couple of thousand people. In August - it needed to!

Platja de Castell beach was easy to reach (by car), 5 Eur all-day parking on a big lot (in the sun). The beach itself was archetypal: half moon, perfect, clean sand, two stands for snacks and drinks, gentle slope into the water. Beach was clearly...More

Beautiful large sandy beach in an area of natural beauty. As its protected there are no permanent buildings but there are two beach bars with toilets, but they are quite expensive so take your own refreshment. Can hire kayaks and canoes too which is great...More

A very popular beach with young people. The water is very clear and the beach has a fine White sand. We walked along the coast side to the next northern beaches and were disappointed as the beaches have less sand and more alga in the...More
