Living in the Okanagan I visit this winery every 3-6 months as my favourite wine they make can't be purchased in the liquor store. Plus I always take my out of town company to this winery for a tasting or for dinner. Ehrenfelser is by far my most favourite white wine ever. I purchase this wine by the case. The... More

We hadn't been to Gray Monk in a few years and were pleased to still find excellent service and great wines at affordable prices all in a lovely tasting room with nice lake views. Recommended.

Situated in Lake Country, a bit difficult to find the route, about 1/2 a mile off the highway 97. On the way are 3 or 4 other wineries. Grey Monk offers tastings and a stunning view of the lake. They also have a fine dining restaurant for lunch or dinner where you are treated to the view.

Great place to take company. Free tastings. Beautiful facility and view. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of room so not too crowded during busy season. Highly recommend the Pinot Noir.

This Tuscan style winery with an amazing view overlooking Okanagan Lake is a must if you're in the area. Grey Monk has a very nice tasting area with a friendly staff along with a great restaurant that is open seasonally.

Dropped in for the tour just as it began and wow was it amazing. Small tour with us and our 11 year old daughter. We throughly enjoyed the time we spent at Gray Monk. Was end of season so restaurant was not open but tour was great on its own. The winery story a historic legend for the area. The... More

Gray Monk has been around for years and I had forgotten they had built a new tasting room (and I had visited it). Staff are friendly and unpretentious which is nice. Lots of stuff for sale that are not wine in the shop but not overwhelmingly so. The white wines are pretty good here (s it is for most of... More

Absolutely love the food here. Options are limited as the menu is quite small and the prices are fairly high but the food is worth the price you pay. Love going for lunch and having a glass of the kerner along with the seafood salad. Absolutely delish! The wine tasting after lunch is always a nice treat too!

Oddly enough I live in the Okanagan and I am not a big wine fan. But, I am very critical of food and service in restaurants. So, if you eat at this restaurant and sit outside overlooking Lake Okanagan the view, the food and the service will blow you away. I am sure the wine is great too I just... More
