Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the Europe Quality Trails, the Escapardenne does not disappoint! I did this one in September 2019 and absolutely loved the scenery, the well-maintained paths and amazing journey!

steep ascents and descends, slippery in case of rain/snow, great views both from above and below, along the river, nice autumn colorous, woth doing in winter with better views when trees have lost their leaves. Good choice of other walking paths which are much less demanding. Best option is clearly the full two days walk on GR 57 from La Roche to Houffalize. Consider also walking the Ourthe valley further down around and below Hotton, with nice impressive rocks.

We did a lot of different hiking routes in the Ardennes and some of them were on the same path with eisleck trail. The nature is amazing and the path is well maintained and taken care of.There is a lot of different scenery while walking this route and a lot of things to discover!Like i wrote on the title we did bits and parts of this hike but we want to go back just to walk the whole trail.

We walked the trail in six stages, and found it varied, beautiful, sometimes quite hard going, but always excellently signposted. I recommend the blog trekkings.be for interesting descriptions of the countryside and sights.

Is die 25km een rondweg? Kan men met de bus of trein terug naar 't beginpunt?

The 25km is not a roundtrip but it is between two railway-stations, with a train every 30minutes!
Also the signs are very accurate and they allow to walk the trail in both directions without getting lost.

Hey, a few friends and I would like to do the trail within a few days, is there any option to reserve camping spots on the trail?
