One of the most amazing mountains I´ve ever seen.... full of minerals, it is good to see it in a sunny day. Wonder of nature!

As soon as you drive into the town you can see the mountain and it is unlike anything I've ever seen. We stopped for lunch and walked around the town but if we had had more time we would have hiked up to get a closer view.

If you have the time do this fairly easy walk in both directions at different times of the day and explore one or two off piste tracks. The colours are amazing and rival the Painted Desert in Arizona and the visit is free!

Not to be missed this is a beautiful beautiful place with incredible views. The entire surroundings are equally as stunning but this place is not to bevmissed as its the entrance to Purmamarca.

The Mountain of seven colour is a must see in the area. Better to see it early in the morning from one of the belvederes outside town: ask some locals for indications because it's very poorly indicated on maps!

If you walk up the hill in the small city, and put some effort into finding a good spot (at the right time) you'll have a great view of the seven colored hills. They are beautiful in different ways, depending on the sunlight, so make sure you go there on different occations, if possible.

That's one of the few places you keep thinking: How come nature could have designed such a paradise? Was there any designer or architect? It blew my mind, each time I turned around I was amazed! First time of my life I thought nature is giving me an orgasm :)

The people are very friendly and were very happy to browse without makimng us feel as though we had to buy anything. It's also a great place to relax and just chill for a couple of days. It is easily accessible by tours or... More
