The Mountain of seven colour is a must see in the area. Better to see it early in the morning from one of the belvederes outside town: ask some locals for indications because it's very poorly indicated on maps!

If you walk up the hill in the small city, and put some effort into finding a good spot (at the right time) you'll have a great view of the seven colored hills. They are beautiful in different ways, depending on the sunlight, so make sure you go there on different occations, if possible.

That's one of the few places you keep thinking: How come nature could have designed such a paradise? Was there any designer or architect? It blew my mind, each time I turned around I was amazed! First time of my life I thought nature is giving me an orgasm :)

Purmamarca is a beautiful village surrounded by incredible scenery. There are some good restaurants and shops. The people are very friendly and were very happy to browse without makimng us feel as though we had to buy anything. It's also a great place to relax and just chill for a couple of days. It is easily accessible by tours or... More

Marvelous place!! The mountain covered with several colors giving it a unique look. The village is small , nice, and friendly. Very safe! People their are warm and friendly. There is a bazar like open market with typical goods like llama wool clothes, etc. I strongly suggest to stop over and visit!

Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise admiring this nature wonder. Walking around and climbing it up are different options to enjoy it.

I was so glad to have stayed the night. The ever changing color of the mountain is just breathtaking. We walked the path (1 hr slow walk) but we just wanted to move so slowly to see the shadow changes. 7 colors are the least, purple, pink, peach, plum, copper, blue, peacock..... The town is small with 4 cross streets.... More

You really must allow time in this town to allow you to see this hill at all times of the day. Each time you look at with different lighting it seems the hill changes color. We have seen many colorful mountains - but never all the colors in one mountain/hill!
