The park and the smallish museum are a great place to visit when you're tired of just lying on the lakefront catching sun. There are amazing views over the lake and you get a mini work-out climbing to the summit. Lots of archaeological stuff on display too

Spent some hours trekking around Parco Archeologico Rocca di Manerba in August 2016 - and it was a good experience. There are some great views around the different routes, which are very clearly marked with different colours so it is easy to find your way around. Can be recommended, but remember to wear decent shoes. Not all of the routes... More

Do you have children asking sand on the lake? You should come to Pisenze beach and let them enjoy the lake while you enjoy your time there.

Its short but heavy rise to the top. At least on a hot day, but it is definitely worth! I´m 61 years old and I'm not athletic. : )

We started from the little town uphill until the rocca, after the may picture of the astonishing view of the Garda lake from the rocca, we started the descent down the hill which is a bit difficult for some people but we all made it. Then we proceeded in the park with several up and down along the various tracks.... More
