Highlight of my trip and I travelled most of Italy. The history is amazing and the views are breathtaking!! 101% will revisit some time soon!

The island although open to tourists is still privately owned so I should imagine that you have to take the official taxi boat over. Best check with your tour guide or hotel to be sure
