If you are in Brunate take the time to visit the church. It isn't large but it's very beautiful from the inside and only a short walk from the railway. The church dates back originally from the fourteenth century. Also a thing to note is...More

Nice little church to pop in to hide from the heat, a nice cool welcome from the sun. Set on the hillside at he top of the railway run, so easy for all.

I rarely pray but after driving up to Brunate and finding this lovely little church I felt I had to pray. Worth to go inside if you ever end up to Brunate during your Italy vacation.

We took the funicular to Brunate on Sunday morning, and found this lovely small church on a square fairly close to the funicular station. Breathtaking exterior. When mass ended, we went in and looked at it. Beautiful frescoes. A joy to behold.

By taking the funicular railway to Brunate we wandered into this church. The interior is beautifully decorated with frescoes and is refreshingly cool on a hot day.
