As in many other places in the Philippines, the word “sanctuary” is more about marketing than preservation. That said, the coral here is very beautiful, and collection of fish varied. I particularly liked the large number clownfish, a black banded sea krait (snake), and many...More

Most of the coral was bleached and we did see various fish and were lucky to see a large turtle however i wouldnt say its teeming with marine life. Perhals Ive been spoilt by the great barrier reef in Australia.

We stayed at Coco Grove Beach Resort for four days and we went snorkeling every time we had some free time. The corals in this area are well-preserved and the schools of colorful fish are amazing to behold. They charge you only 50 pesos per...More

I spent many hours in the water here. The range and variety of marine life here is quite astounding. If you have a good waterproof torch (flashlight), it is even better at night when everything comes out to play.

One of the best spots to snorkel on Siquijor ! You must pay a entry fee and he beach is only very small. So it can get crowded but I was solo and asked people to mind my stuff while I snorkel.

We just parked our bike at the "entrance" and walked into the area. There was no one there so we didn't pay any fee accessing the area. Good marine life and very quiet. Water is very shallow. Not the best in Philippines but good enough...More

This sanctuary has not been hit by the recent typhoon so the coral is very healthy. There are things to see both in the shallows and the deeper parts. We saw many lion fishes ( both under the rocks and in the shallows ). Turtles...More
