I went to Siquijor end of October around the holidays. While the beaches close to the town of San Juan and Siquijor are dirty (weeds etc), and Salagdoong beach being full of tourists, Paliton came in as a surprise. It wasn't super pristine as there were still weeds (or was it grass) in the water but it was clear and... More

We spent an hour or so at Paliton Beach on the second day of our day tour of siquijor. It can be a lil hard to find if you dont know what your looking for, there is no real sign out by the main road directing you to the beach. Look for the basketball court at the barangay hall and... More

It was part of the tour that a fellow traveler and I availed. This is their mini boracay in siquijor. True enough since the sand is so powdery and the place is very secluded. But during our visit there was a lot of sea weed due to the habagat season. It was a very disappointing. we visited in August so... More

The main beach was being prepared for a yacht race, and the construction laid plenty of plaster powder in the water, making it to really fun. We end up not swimming there :( On the south of the main/big beach, 2 small beaches in recluded bays are nicer but not really suitable for swimming (especially with young children). Too bad,... That is a little over the top, but it gets close. They say they keep it hidden from the tourists when you are on an island tour, I guess that is part of the 'feel good, feel special' the tour guides want to give you. Because they take every tourist there and at some days it is very crowded. Good... More

Some construction by a certain resort is on its way, but Paliton Beach is definitely one of the best beaches in the island! I had the pleasure of having the whole beach all to myself! Will definitely go back

Went here at lunch and there was only 1 couple at the beqch. Place felt like your own private beach with fine sand and patches of coconut trees. Water was crystal clear! Hear from our tricycle driver that its being developed but i hope it somehow they could retain the natural beauty of it!

Paliton beach is a beautiful shoreline with very amazing powdery sands. Paliton beach is yet to be discovered. Few people are visiting the place yet.

Paliton beach was a bit confusing but great. We took the exit from the circumferential road at the church in paliton as described in the lonely planet. At the end of the road, you find a house with a sign: paliton beach marine sanctuary. The house is beautifully decorated with wood and thousands of seashells. In front of the house... More
