You might want to have a coffee in a cafe on the square, or visit a shop, but the town square is best viewed while strolling through the village. It is not a destination in itself.

A pretty little square with variety of restaurants for eating both inside and al fresco (Nb apply anti mosquito spray if eating outside even in September). Clean and tidy

A pretty centre to wander through, with a number of shops, restaurants and cafes. It's fairly small but you'll get a good feel for the place.

Charming little Square and easy to reach where ever in Kuressaare you are, because basically everything is within walking distance. Restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, you name it. But be careful with the cars, because this is not pedestrians only

Most of the restourants is here. But thats not the most important thing. Wait for the sunset and colours after that. It reveals the next level of square

The main square has some beautiful and historic buildings which are very photogenic. However, it is let down by not being pedestrianised.
