About
Gili Divers is a Swedish/English-run dive shop with an experienced team of instructors and divemasters. At Gili Divers, we believe in very personalized, high standard customer service. Diving in small groups will give you the ultimate experience! We offer all dive courses from beginner up to professional level. Our instructor team is multilingual so we can provide your diving education and course materials in your native language. We are very lucky to be located on the main beach road only 50 meters from the sea. Gili Trawangan offers great warm water diving, lots of turtles and colourful reef fish! On the beach we have a chilled out beach bar, perfect for a cold beer after diving. "Come as a stranger - Leave as a friend".

I've had such an amazing time while diving with Gili Divers! In November I did my Open Water course and it was one of the highlights of my Indonesia journey. The dive masters at Gili divers are coming from all over the world, and are very fun. On top of that, I think that the Diving spots around Gili are really worth it, as you can spot turtles, sharks, beautiful corals, or fish in every colour you can think of. Massive thanks to my dive master Michael, who was nice, clear, funny, and (maybe even more important) made me feel safe under water.

If you are an experienced diver look elsewhere unless you want to do student dives. It seems all that is what they want to do. They title their dives Fun Dives but not so fun when you are herded about like students. I also question their safety, I saw one diver with their weight belt on the wrong way. They didn't bother to check my 'C' Card and on one dive when asked if everyone was on board the Dive Master said "I think so." Wrong answer... they did do a role call before leaving the site. On the diving, the sites we were taken to were lack luster with dead coral and minimal sea life. Snorkeling around the Gili Islands was more exciting with turtles, moray eels, schooling fish and live coral outcrops in easy reach.

First time diving I was really nervous, but James made me feel at ease and he was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend and when I am back at Gili T I will be going back for another lesson.

Clem taught me to scuba dive in January 2023. She was fabulous! I recently used the techniques Clem taught me in Mexico 🤿. 10/10 dive school.

We attended the open water course and felt safe at all times. All questions were answered promptly, the equipment is in great condition and the instructors are very nice, patient and professional. Plus point also for the possibility to do the course in German.

Thank you Clem for this trip through the sea. For a first experience of diving, it was great to have a good teacher !
The dive was amazing, we had a 40min dive to see many fish, corals, turtle and the undewater statues. Seemed to be 10minutes!

Our instructor frank took such good care of us, always ensuring we felt safe and confident whilst also having fun and making us laugh. Jasper took amazing pictures of us to take home for the memories. Highly recommend choosing this amazing team for your experience!

We did the Try dive2 weeks ago. My wife and myself are in our early 60,s.Our instructor Wolf was very knowledgeable, patient and offered
very clear instructions. This was important as only being a half day course things have to keep moving in order to complete safety briefing, pool dive and then meet boat for ocean dive. the ocean dive was amazing and once again Wolf kept a close eye on everybody and reinforced the breathing techniques learnt in the pool. We would highly recommend Gili Divers

Great diving center with very capable and social divemasters and dive instructors. I liked the vibe of the shop as soon as i walked in. Everyone was nice, eager to help and make a chat with you.
I Did 6 fundives on a great diversity of sites. Especially Turtle heaven and Shark point are very good dive spots! The dive masters/instructors are very professional. So don’t doubt and go there! Special thanks to Anna, Brooke, and Florian 👌🏼🤙🏻.

490000 IDR per fundive. Prices are fixed on all dive shops on the island. Discounts for multiple dives (3 dives = -10%, 10 dives = -15%). If you stay at Gili Mansion or Gili Castle or at the shop, you get 50000 IDR off each day you dive and stay.

Ja, det finns det! Man kan välja om man absolut vill göra på svenska ☺ Annars är alla andra engelsktalande instruktörer pedagogiska och lätt att förstå ifall man har problem med språket! Skulle egentligen rekommendera att göra på engelska om du ska dyka mer gånger i asien då du lär dig alla ord och termer på engelska och inte bara svenska..

What is the best timing for diving in Lombok? Is surfing also possible in this place? I meant the wave/tide favorable for surfing?

There is good diving all year around. Are you already certified? For surfing there is a little bit on the south of Gili Trawangan, i have heard you have to be pretty good to try it, shallow reef. There is more surfing in south Lombok. Send me an email regarding when you are planning to come and your diving experience level so i can give you more accurate information.
