After hearing rave reviews, I was disappointed to get to beach to be full of stinking algae. It takes a very bumpy dirt road to get there and just had to turn back around. Seeing the salt flats on the way was nice.

Awesome beach and scenery! A Puerto Rico must see. Calm waters for little ones and lounging. NO food or beverages for sale. BYO everything!

The camera doesn’t do it justice. Just awesome views and the water is so blue. Well worth the drive and walk up to the lighthouse.

One of many beaches in puerto rico. The day we went it wasn't crowded. The water was beautiful and its a nice place to visit if you are already going to the lighthouse.

It’s long ride from San Juan but worth the trip absolutely beautiful beach. Pack food and drinks, deceptively hot there with the wind. Our Irish skin got torched:). Look for the Mojito Man if your in the mood for a cocktail in paradise.

This beach is out of the way but so worth the trip! The sights are gorgeous and the water is calm. Love the white powder sugar sand! If you go bring plenty of sun screen as there is no shade!

Not sure the time it closes. It's a public beach, you don't pay to enter beach or light house. No staff on duty.
