A few gems in a pile of crap
Feb 2020 • Family
Good and bad... There is soooo much crap offered here, but there were also stalls with authentic Canarian produce, so it was not a waste of time luckily. But I hated the stalls with fake Nike tops and stalls offering African braiding. Why but why?!

Fake products adn tourist stuff
Jan 2020
Lots and lots of stalls but very standard generic products for sale.

One or two have interesting and unusual jewellery but in the main nothing of note

It has a nice atmosphere but gets super busy - lots of restaurants, cafes and bars around the market area - but if you want really nice places for a drink or bite to eat head off to the marina area

Market Day
Dec 2019
We went to the market in Mogán, busy with lots of stalls selling all sorts of stuff. Some better then others but well worth a visit. The market stretches round the harbour and up behind the beach area. There are lots of restaurants, shops, bars in the area.

Long market

Lots of stalls. We were surprised just how many all the way down from above the bus station to the port. But after a while you see that they are mainly selling the same things, leather ware, fake bags, fake t shirts and beach dresses.

The market stalls mostly sell the same stuff as in the tourist are shops. Towels, football shirts, bags etc.

Finally something different!

I already knew this big market but I had never seen such a beautiful store! The girl who paints stones and wood is really fantastic. We bought many different and unique handmade gifts. It is located at the end of the market, near the port! Thanks

Great day out

We got the number 1 bus from pasito blanco. Pleasant ride with great views and cheap. Left super early so we were there before 10am and it was lovely and quiet. From 10.30 it got really busy. Got some great bargains. Haggle and walk away - it’s part of the experience and they will come down in price :)

All much the same
Sep 2019
Was expecting a bit more as everyone had been talking about the market. We went with open minds but were disappointed as many of the stalls were selling the same old stuff. Cheap watches, glasses, t shirts and hats. There was a couple of jewellery stalls which were ok but that was about it

Everything and nothing
Jul 2019 • Friends
The usual cheap knock offs from clothing, accessories, gadgets, toys, etc. Many of the stalls are selling pretty much of the same things, but if you’re patient enough to stroll through the long length of its location, you might come across some gems. We found that the Monday market was much more enjoyable to wander around in rather than the hustle and bustle of Friday’s tourist traps, plus during that time they had more locally produced goods.

Hundreds of stalls but not much variety
Jul 2019 • Family
This is a massive market that stretches from the Cordial all the way over to the lighthouse bar on the end of the pier. Other than it being something to do as a stroll and a browse I’m not sure there’s much to recommend it. Usual cheap knock offs , not much craft or local products (there is more of this at the Monday market than the Friday one) and a lot of duplication across stalls. On the upside it is the day that the stall is there with the sugar cane mojitos with the guy freshly pressing sugar cane as the base for the drinks! Worth a visit for that alone!
