Went there early Sat morning from the center of old Macau, Hotel Lisboa. A quick public bus ride 50X gives a good tour of residential Taipa, a glimpse of the casino district Cotai, and then the villages of Coloane. Had the egg tarts, coffee and pork chop bun and walked around to see the temples and the Catholic Church. Place... More

My favorite place in Macau is Coloane. It does not like the other places in Macau, it is an old village but peaceful and make me feel relaxed. I went with friends and had a barbecue at the beach. Enjoying the barbecue food and the sea breeze, it is so nice. And the views of the Coloane is great ,... More

Beautiful place to visit. I visited here with my friends. It is easy to take bus to go there. Honestly, I came here for the famous Portuguese egg tart at Lord Stow’s bakery. The Portuguese egg tart was nice, freshly baked. I highly recommend to try the egg tart here. The egg tart cost 9 mop for one. I think... More

Coloane is a nice place. This place is reclaiming land from sea to complete it. There has many delicious food and famous restaurant. Like Portuguese egg tart, it is the specific from Macau. In Coloane, we can taste the most authentic Portuguese egg tart. The air is fresh. I think that is because Coloane has not many high buildings and... More

I am glad to share the information and my experience about my hometown to the people who want to travel here. As Macau is divided into three parts, it is one part of the macu and it is the smallest place. Although it is small, but it is quite quiet, better than the others two which are full of buildings,... I have been here with my friend for taking photos. I seemed to come back my hometown Fujian when I got off the bus because there are so many houses without elevator and the residents sat in front of their door of house with dog. I could not stop to take photos with some special houses which are really colorful... More

This was probably one of our favourite places to visit during our week in Macau. The old buildings along the water combined with the lovely old building along the lanes and alleyways made for a picturesque and stress-free time. The streets are not as crowded as central Macau or Cotai, and it is far less commercial. There are some good... More
