I like how Chinese is being used widely in this church. It is very small but one can sense its' strong community spirit built around it. Lovely nativity scene in the adjourning room... At sun set, the sun beats a path light of gold through...More

We recently visited St. Francis Xavier cathedral in Coloane village and were disappointed with what we found compared to the many nice church visits you can make in Macau. This church, built in 1928, as the potential to be a very important place to visit...More

This is the historic highlight of Coloane Village. The influential Sao Francisco Xavier's digit allegedly resides here, not that we saw it on the day that we visited recently. But what we could soak up was the heady atmosphere of old Macau...before it became the...More

This Church is beautiful inside and out and is well worth a visit. Easy to find with nice gardens around the outside.

Another tropical baroque chuch built in Macau during Portuguese rule. It is similar to other Macau Catholic churches but they are indeed the reflection of a special past and history. Worth to visit, but if you have a tight schedule, you can skip this church...More

In the main part of Macau is quite crowded while this church is fine, not so many people. Really relaxing to visit.

Just has 10 minutes, was a bit rushed. However can say, was worth the stop. Its a functional Church not only for tourism. Nice architecture, for those into such stuff. Neatly kept grounds.

We arrived here around 10am on a weekday and there was not a tourist in sight aside from our little group. The place was small and the architecture was not impressive but it was peaceful, the right ambience for a church.

Another delightful Portuguese chuch built in Macau reflecting their Christian faith but also it adds to cultural and religious diversity when the east succesfuly met the west in Macau.

This is another illustration that using tours is not necessarily the best way to go. Although the place and the garden looked great, our tour guide did not get us time to enjoy the place and limited the story to a few phrase. I do...More
