This is where shopping is taken very seriously by the shop owners. They all have promos of all kinds. The best shops are the food stores. Do not rush and panic buy, just go around and check everything if you are not in a hurry...More

Lovely picturesque square should definitely be a part of your Walking tour of Old Macao. Wonderful people watching and beautiful tiled sidewalks. The whole city is very well kept, clean and tidy!

Nothing really special here, although as part of a walkabout round the old town okay. Macau is basically a huge gambling area for the rich Chinese (and other rich tourists). Not that much to do except wander around.

Beautiful, Mediterranean feel of the main town square. It would be fantastic with every scrap of horrible decoration removed that were suppose to make mainland Chinese tourists feel at home. Why would you spoil such a beautiful place.

What can I say, it is a like a street in Europe, but in Macau.. if you are from Europe you will probably be underwhelmed by the buildings, and a bit overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of Chinese Tourists. My wife wanted to do it,so...More

Old Portuguese style square with a 16th century church, some tiled frescoes, baroque buildings and lots of shops, especially pastellerias. A worth visit when in Macau.

Agree wholeheartedly with Ravi. We actually stayed at Hong Kong and visited Macau for a day. We hardly shopped because everything was way more expensive than in the US, where I go regularly. Zara is cheaper even in Amsterdam.
