The Maritime Museum (MOP10 for adults over 17, only MOP5 of Sunday) is easily one of Macau's best museums and is conveniently located just across from the famous A-Ma Temple. Here you can see four floors of exhibitions, displays and information related to local maritime...More

This museum contains some fairly interesting relica ships, but I couldn't relax and enjoy it because I almost failed the temperature check that they do on all visitors (due, presumably, to swine flu paranoia) - they check your temperature right after you enter from the...More

I wasn't expecting much when I walked into this museum ... it was a target of opportunity after we had finished with the A-Ma Temple next door. But this modern, well designed, and thoughtful museum was a great experience. It communicates the rich Portuguese maritime...More

Not a bad aquarium just a little small for the price of admission. Friendly staff. I think it would be better for younger kids.

You can easily spend one or two hours happily looking at all the maritime models. You can also combine this visit with the nearby A-Ma temple. In summer, this museum provides a good air conditioned respite from the summer heat.
