Thrill-seeking activity in Coloane
Jul 2019
Macau Motorsports Club is where you will find a 1.2 kilometre karting track that is considered one of the most challenging in all of Asia. The course and go-karting grounds are located in Coloane along Estrada de Seac Pai Van (bus route 21A) and includes a spectator stand and cafe.

The Coloane Karting Track is used to host international karting competitions at various times during the year and is a popular place to enjoy a bit of go-karting (MOP$180 per 15 minutes) if you have a driver's license and looking for more thrill seeking entertainment during your visit.

Poor attitude, I brought my car and motor bike license after having one go on the track I was the only person so they set out a worker could not even keep up with me, once I finished I went for a second turn they noticed I had a disfigured hand so with out asking or consulting they kicked me off the track I tried to explain to them I’ve driven many tracks I have my own race car, and hold a car / international License, very poor attitude, track was okay in size, cars old ; English very poor communication, disappointing, I don’t even offer to arrange a taxi you just have to stand on the street and white

The best and only place for high octane fun in HK and Macau

The track is decent, its relatively simple to register and get yourself started. It's also fairly inexpensive at $180 / 15 minutes. We had a great time, plenty of opportunity for competitive racing and little to no pressure / regulation from the staff. The only issue is there is basically no customer service, but if you're not too bothered about that then you're in for a good time.

Nice place for kids to experience kart racing. My daughter enjoyed and my son felt the thrill. A bit too far from city center

Terrible experience
Oct 2016 • Friends
Arrived with a group of friends from Hong Kong at 2pm in the afternoon. Nobody spoke English - security guard refused to let us drive as we had brought beers in a couple of cases to take to a BBQ afterwards. Said we were drunk when we were obviously not.
There was nobody there who was willing to even try to talk with us. Several of us tried to communicate in both Cantonese and Mandarin - but he just refused to talk with us.
Very disappointing having come all the way from HK specifically to drive the karts.

Should be better

Take your licence or you can't rent the karts.
It is a great track, smooth and well surfaced. Great corners and a reasonable safety, with long trousers and proper shoes required.
BUT.....the karts are either old or just not quick enough. We have parted all over the world and these are the slowest and most infuriating karts about and just too slow for the track. For beginners they are OK< but if you have parted before they are just dull .
Secondly getting a taxi afterwards is a nightmare. Unless you can call one.

overall could be amazing, but is a bit of a letdown really. It is cheap at 180MOP, but not really worth all the effort to get there.

Make sure you have a driver's licence

+15 min of driving for 180 MOP. I guess that's fairly priced, considering it's Macau. I believe Go Karting prices are similar in other cheaper cities like Bangkok.
+I do not have too much Go Karting experience but I felt that the track was pretty fun. Tried drifting a bit on the tracks and it worked
+Go Karts have a speed limit of 60km/hour
+Location isn't too bad, it's about 3km from the big casinos in Taipa (CoD, Galaxy, Venetian). Then again, it's Macau, how far can any attraction be?

-1 kart can only fit 1 person, in the past you could have 2 people riding in the kart for 220 MOP but that's no longer possible
-we were told that if it suddenly rained, we would be forced to stop driving and would receive no refunds

If you are age 18 or above with driving license, go here and try the go karting. The track is famous for Asian championship race!

Don't forget your drivers license!
Nov 2015 • Friends
There are no other kart tracks in asia running slow 4 stroke karts, that I have come across, that require a drivers license. This one does! Proved to be a huge disappoint for some of the group as a result..

The track has minimal facilities and could have been much more entertaining with slightly faster karts. The few Staff around were friendly and helpful. The track is a proper kart track and crying out for an option of faster karts.

Recommended for a bit of fun but watch out for license trap and early closing 5:30 or 6pm.

Awesome track and nice staff but getting old now
Dec 2015
You can't really hate on tee track here, it is huge and has been host to the world karting championships.
It is certainly well worn, but still loads of fun.
The karts are a little more worse for wear, I had 2 break down before a 3rd one finally ran properly.
Staff were nice and friendly and the clean under balaclava was much appreciated. Worth the visit for sure, just would benefit from a little spruce up.
