Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The village of Cannara deserves much more than the fame linked to the famous Onion Festival.
Bathed by the waters of the Topino, Cannara contains artistic jewels not to be underestimated.
The Town Hall and the Church of San Francesco overlook the main square, where numerous paintings are exhibited.
Also noteworthy is the Church of the Good Death, the most baroque in the country.
Not to be missed is the 12th century Church of San Biagio on the main street, which preserves medieval frescoes inside.
Finally, a particular place among the attractions is occupied by the Church of San Giovanni Battista, which has a 16th century wooden portal on its façade, decorated with carved panels, while the interior, with a single nave, is characterized by the presence of statues, stuccos and canvases.
Among the main ones, the two statues of San Liborio and San Rufino, placed on the sides of the main altar, where the panel of the Trinity by Niccolò Alunno, from 1482, depicting the Madonna and Child between San Giovanni Battista and San Sebastiano is placed.
Don't miss a visit to the Hovel of San Francesco, characterized by the simplicity of the Franciscan hermitages.
A village that is appreciated for its small size, the waters of the Topino River that cross it and the numerous artistic testimonies.
Recommended visit.

Characteristic quiet and well-kept village. Ideal for those who love walking slowly to discover local historical curiosities. Beautiful experience!

Borgo molto carino, come i tanti borghetti umbri.
