Worth the trip

The camp (through sahara services) was excellent, service wonderful, food pretty good. The dunes are amazing, better than you'd ever expect.

This is the best Dunes in Morocco. We had opportunity to stay 3 nights in Chegaga and was SUPER. Very stary nights, silent desert, incredible landscape and very nice camp provide by Caravane du Sud. The camp itself its called Authentic Camp Erg Chegaga with super professional staff, food and luxury tents. We highly recommend.

Lovely, big area of Sand dunes. Our trip was organized by Mathilde from Ecolodge Bab el Oued in Agdz. She did a great job! She was very helpful with planning and did set up a great Programme for us and our 3 Children.

Watching the sunset from Erg Chigaga is an amazing experience. However, though it was the prettiest place I saw on my desert tour, it is not my favourite. There are quite a bit of people around and sadly dirtbikes are aloud to enter the dunes. That being sad, in my opinion, it is a must see when visiting the desert... More

I traveled to Morocco with a friend one week ago and one of the things we definitely enjoyed the most was our stay in Erg Chigaga desert. We met Larbi Elbid in M'hamid and he was an excellent tour guide, as well as an excellent person. When you meet him you notice that he really loves what he does, he's... More

Getting to Erg Chigaga takes more effort off-roading in 4x4 but well worth the effort! The dunes are not as tall or touristy as Erg Chebbi. The dunes were pristine with wildlife tracks and the colors were much softer and muted in the hues of taupe and light beige, but still amazing! Since we’ve been to Erg Chebbi, which is... More

What is amazing about Erg Chigaga is that it is not crowded and touristic. We had an amazing drive from M'hamid to the dunes. It was just us most of the way except for 3 cars that we saw heading back to the town. We did see a lot more on our return. The dunes are amazing. I loved soaking... More

This is sooooo romantic! We stayed one night and arrived in time for sunset. We had brought a bottle of moroccan wine and uncorked it sat at the top of a tall peak and watched the sun set - which took hours. While the sunset on one side, the full moon rose on the other so it never actually got... More

Everything about this luxury camp run by Bobo and his Morocan team is superb. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and the hospitality and friendliness is faultless. This is a luxurious oasis in the beautiful Sahara Desert.
