Smaller and much less congested than Yala. Plenty of viewings of elephant and birds. Would recommend a visit.

This is a must visit for all tourists. Take a jeep ride after 3pm and you will see a large amount of elephants come out to wash, eat and play by the water. Its an amazing site. The jeep ride would cost you around Rs 5000 per family. Don't go earlier in the day as you will not see many... More

This is a large expanse with a large lake at the centre- it started many years ago with rivers being dammed to as to,act as a reservoir in the dry season. Spectacular bird life with waders. We saw a herd of about 25 elephants by the water- wonderful to see these majestic animals in freedom in the wild. We also... More

Lovely park loads of birds. You cannot fail to see elephants in visually stunning surroundings. We counted 44 elephants and babies in one herd next to the lake.

We thought that we might see a " token " elephant and the odd bird. How wrong were we. So many birds, including painted storks, fish eagles and pelicans. A large family of elephants with their young, including one that was only about a month old. Great place!

We had just arrived in the area and were reluctant to do this tour after 24 hours of travelling so glad we did though. Only 20minutes from our hotel we saw loads of elephants, water buffalo, peacocks a jackal monitor lizards and monkeys so well worth a visit.

We had a lovely few hours at this national park. We had a very knowledgeable guide in our jeep who was very informative, and stopped the jeep everytime he saw something. We saw a few elephants, but the day before there had been lots and lots apparently.

We went in a 4 wheel drive jeep during the afternoon. We had a driver and guide and the trip was excellent. We saw lots of elephants and were pretty close ; the animals did not seem bothered. No other jeeps around. This may have been because we set off in the rain. There were lots of birds as well... More
