I was planning to visit Sri Lanka for a while now and since most of my friends have already explored this beautiful country, I decided for a solo trip. Not being used to traveling alone, this being the first time, I had the peace of mind that I was looked after by well trusted professional which is Ioana Luca from Meet Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka Concierge). I had a very long list of attractions I absolutely wanted to see and having only 8 days of vacation Ioana was absolutely amazing at putting together the perfect itinerary considering my budget and everything from by bucket list.
Since I did not have time to find my way across the entire island and take public transportation, Ioana suggested a personal driver, Mr Hemantha, during the entire vacation. Mr. Hemantha was extremely kind, calm, patient and did everything possible to ensure I have a perfect holiday.
I can honestly say that the trip to Sri Lanka was above and beyond my expectations, it was everything I was hoping for and more. And as we all travelers know, you can have a successful holiday only if all logistics are done well, if our plan goes smoothly and if you feel look after. I recommend Ioana with no hesitation for her travel services as she is extremely professional, honest, gives the perfect advises and one of the most reliable people I ever met.

I would like to apologize first for replying with such delay to ypur beatiful and detailed review.
Moreover, i would like to thank you on behalf of Meet Sri Lanka for your trust and allowing us to be part of your experience. As a solo trabeller myself, i understand how important it is to feel safe and at ease, stress free. After all, the purpose is relaxation for the body and mostly, the mind when one travels. We are very happy we succeeded in creating the conditions for you to enjoy this country and cover your full itinerary. You had 8 intense days,!😊
Thank you for your praises, appreciation for myself and Hemantha and for our travel work, even though we do not feel it as work since we enjoy it so much.
We do hope you are keeping safe and you may resume traveling in a not too distant future. We are waiting for you to return to the island one day and see different sides of the same story that is Sri Lamka!

The vacation in Sri Lanka was greater than we have imagined it.
We were very lucky to find out about Ioana because she helped us to have a perfect vacation. Everything was planned in advance, accommodations, airport transfers, Ioana recommended the best itinerary for our need she even took care for the train tickets from Kandy to Ella so we didn’t need to worry about anything and she also arranged a bus with a guide for us. We have appreciated every advise we were given and she always gave us the best recommendations.
Sri Lanka is wonderful, great people and breathtaking landscapes. It was the first time that I was feeling sorry to go home.
I recommend everyone to contact Ioana before making any plans, she knows so much about Sri Lanka and she will arrange the best itinerary according to your specifications.
Next time we go to Sri Lanka I will ask her, for sure, to help us again.

We trusted Meet Sri Lanka and had a perfect vacation! Ioana planned every detail of our itinerary, from the arrival transfer till the day they dropped us in the airport for departure.
Our driver Dinuka was also amazing, driving safe and good English speaking. We got also a young and smart guide, always smiling, Chamath, I bet he will become one of the best guides of Sri Lanka 😊
I fell in love with this country, full of amazing places, historic cities, safari parks, surf bays, tea plantations, stunning beaches, tasty food and much more!
Sri Lanka, this magical island, is now my new favorite destination in Asia, thanks to these beautiful people, our new friends.

We had an amazing vacation in Sri Lanka and Ioana was part of our experience. She helped us renting a car with a driver. Madjula, the driver, picked us form the Colombo Airport at 3 a.m. and stayed with us for almost 3 weeks. He was very punctual, flexible and we felt safe with him as a driver. We traveled with 1 year baby boy and the safety was very important. Ioana was so nice with us and with our baby boy. We helped us form the beginning with itinerary, accommodations, food, people...everything that we needed. She also stayed at our hotel in Kandy for 1 night and we had the opportunity to know each other better. She loves Sri Lanka and she is trying to make us, the travelers, love this country also. Sri Lanka is an absolutely amazing country, the nature is at it's best, the people are so nice and helpful. For those who are traveling with a baby, it is a very safe country and baby friendly. Thank you Meet Sri Lanka for your help and kindness.

We spent 2 days with Chamath as our driver. He is a very nice young man, polite and respectful with good driving skills and an excellent eye to spot wild animals. He did much more than we expected, he even climbed Pidurangala Rock with us before sunrise, he took us to Nalanda Gedige, the central point of Sri Lanka, which is a nice and quiet temple that we didn't know about, he stoped beside a lake so we can watch the sunset, also stoped many times for us to take pictures... We had nice conversations about everything, he answered our questions and shared his knowledge. We highly recommend Chamath as a driver and Meet Sri Lanka to customize your trip.

The experience we had in Sri Lanka was extraordinary and this is due not only to the wonderful country but also to the people from Meet Sri Lanka.
Ioana helped us since the planning phase of the trip, when she realistically told us about the distances, she showed us what places we can cover in the same day, helped us save time and money, advising us to group the visiting parts at the beginning and at the end of the 2 weeks’ trip.
Meet Sri Lanka was our connection with the local reality. Considering that we travelled to Sri Lanka last year, one month after the terrorist attacks from April 2019, the people from Meet Sri Lanka gave us confidence and courage to go on with our plans, presenting us realistically the situation in the country.
The trip to Sri Lanka included a little bit of everything: we saw impressive historical places (Polonnarwa, Sigiriya, Dambulla, etc), we went to the beach on the east coast, we saw colorful fish in the waters near Pigeon Island, we visited Hindu temples in Trincomalee, Buddhist ones including the one in Kandy, we hicked Little Adams Peak in Ella, traveled by train, we saw the famous Nine Arches Bridge and the tea plantations, we travelled in the south and saw what the ocean looks like during the monsoon, we saw the palm trees in the Coconut Hill, the “staged” fishermen and in the end we visited the beautiful fort Galle.
What we liked best about this trip is that we understood the local life and traditions much better as we travelled for two weeks with Ioana and Hemantha, wo live there and know all the secrets of the place. Sri Lanka is all about the people, and we did meet some special ones, starting with our handsome driver Hemantha :) , who drove us with professionalism. He even helped us find a beach that we had seen only on instagram. He recognized it only by looking at a picture portraying some rocks and a palm tree :).
Then there was this lady from the local diner from Habara, who kept bringing us food and was so happy that we went back the next day. And the tuk tuk driver from Trincomalee who introduced us to his family and offered us drinks in the shade of his yard, or the family whose guesthouse we slept in and who struggled to survive in those difficult times.
Sri Lanka is a wonderful country, which is worth discovering with time and patience. It is important not to have unrealistic expectations of reaching all there is to see, because you will not have time to enjoy people and the country.

We had the pleasure to discover Sri Lanka with Meet Sri Lanka. They helped us with our itinerary making sure we make the most of the places we visited, suggestions on accommodation and places to eat, good laughs and many more. From the beginning, we were impressed that sustainability and respect towards local culture and people in general was always incorporated in their thinking and advice.

Both Hemantha and his son Chamath have driven us during our first 3 days in Sri Lanka. They are both excellent. Hemantha is so knowledgeable and has made really helpful suggestions about where we should visit whilst in the Habarana area. He also helped us find local restaurants whilst we were staying in Habarana. Chamath is a charming young man, and the two days we have spent with him driving us around have been fun. He found us a really good local guide when we needed one. Chamath knows a lot about animals and birds and showed us animals that we wouldn’t have seen by ourselves. I thoroughly recommend both of them as drivers, really nice people to spend time with.

Habarana is a great place which offers so many possibilities of exploration, in terms of nature, wildlife, culture and local interaction. The people are very kind and genuine, and you have met two of them at least in your father and son guiding drivers.

For 24 days we had an amazing experience travelling with 2 children(3 and 4) and we had the best advices. Combined relaxation with visiting. If you want to see the real Sri Lanka not the commercial one they are the right choice.if you want authentic experiences choose them.

We spent 9 days in Sri Lanka. If you arrive in Sri Lanka it is a "must" to contact Ioana. With the help of the Meet Sri Lanka concept, you will not have to worry about accommodation, transport or exceptional planning of time spent in this beautiful country. As for transportation, Hemantha is more than a driver. He is the basic man during the trips, punctual and very sociable, it makes you feel like a man of the place, not a tourist. Surely our vacation would not have been so beautiful if Ioana and Hemantha had not been part of it
