We visited this, & many more, Buddhist temple during a cultural & beach visit to Sri Lanka. The cultural history is fantastic. Wear protective clothing as the weather can be hot & humid- water essential!

We visited while on a tour and this was one of highlights of the entire trip. There are lots of buildings over a large area. Definitely worth a visit.
