Its lovely to walk around and shop for little souvenirs. The people are friendly and chattable. Some great cafes and restaurants around too.

I was was disappointed by the whole of Kos town, l know it was the end of October but things seemed very run down and dirty. I am sure that many tavernas and cafes have not been open this year or even a couple of years. Our rep at the hotel confirmed businesses have been struggling and many were not... More

A very pretty classic Greek iland village. Lots of craft and gift shops with some authentic wares but a lot of goods made in China and lots of fakes from Turkey just across the sea , one hour on the ferry. Worth a visit. T.Taylor UK

We visited in late October so I'm sure it's more vibrant in the main summer period. Some nice places to sit and have a frappe and watch the world go by. The main thing to notice is the little mosque that is there. Otherwise nothing of any interest really. Go check out the little lanes of gift shops and eateries... More

Loved this developed square. Lots of restaurants and shops to spend your time. There is a lovely quaint church that you can look inside.

Great place to sit and people watch. Plenty of choices of cafe bars around the square; the women's co-op is particularly good, and recommended.

Very Nice place but dissapointed by the covered market which lokks more like a souvenir Shop. Anyway the place is really nice and animated and nicely lighted in the evening accessible by bike. Do no hezsitate to visit the small typical street of the old Kos town around the square there are nice bars restaurant and souvenir shops to discover

Best place to be to spend a lazy day people watching. Loads of quaint bars and friendly people. Plenty of mini shops bazaars and a market where you can barter away and get a good price. Mini train will take you around on a scenic route which is fantastic. The Catholic Church near the cometary is such a beautiful restful... More
