Very nice place to sit in the shadow and let the children Run around (no traffic). There are some small Cafés around to enjoy a Coffee or cold drink

This is a tree. I mean, this is just a tree;) surrounded by fence. This is not the biggest or even the prettiest tree in the neighbourhood)

What can one say? Its a big tree in the middle of Kos Town. Nice streets around it to wander around. Not really sure how much more can be said.

We had to go here it's part of the history in Greece,, we found if u got the train from Kos town it takes u there,, they give you an hour to look around and then collect u,, there's 3 stops on the train which costs 5 euros for adults and children are free,,they take you to. The 3 main... More

This is worth a visit when touring around kos. there is so much history sitting here and its worth joining a tour or getting a book if your interested in the history and mythology of the island.

Such a shame that this venerable old lady has been so defaced by lovers carving their initials and other graffiti into her skin. It is only a tree but it is quite a sight and something that's popular with visitors and locals alike.

Not much to say about an ancient tree, but whilst visiting Kos for a fortnight why not go and see it to say you have, we came across it as we walked around the the Knights castle, the entire marina is stunning and made more interesting by features of history such as the trees, not much else really to say... More
