Visited with young children and made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door, it feels as though you're in a relatives house having dinner as very homely atmosphere. Food is great as is the service, would recommend but you definitely need to book in advance for Sunday lunch as they only have 1 sitting and... More

We stopped by Cedric's to pick up some cider and nibbles. What a nice, friendly place! Had some absolutely delicious home made marshmallows. Cider was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back.

Cedric is the owner and a great character. He and his family make award winning apple pies, jams, cakes, cider, juices and every thing else to take home as a memoir of Somerset. We have recommended many people who also enjoyed the products! The bar is really cosy and traditionally fitted out. We are going to book the a table... More

We stopped here to get their award winning cake. It is amazing. You have to make sure that if you are in the area to get one. I also picked up a jar of one of their delicious homemade jam.

Enjoyed a browse and plenty of tastings here! Beautiful garden, a real gem of a place. Family run - what lovely, welcoming people. Came away with homemade jams, marmalade, cake, marshmallows and if course, cider!!! A great visit - and thankfully they offer a mail order service!!!

Came past at 12.30 on a Sunday. Popped in and asked for a table. Terrible smell of cabbage cooking. Unfriendly bloke said he only had carvery food available and said he couldn't even make us a sandwich ! There was a chalk board offering salads and soups ...but he said no! Then he saw there were 5 of us and... More

So sorry you didn’t like us when you popped in. We remember the occasion well because only 2 people came in for lunch it was assumed you wanted a table for 2 as only 2 were seen, not 5. We were fully booked (booking is always advised to avoid disappointment) but you were offered a table for 2 in our... More

Drove past on way to Weymouth, turned round and came back - we had to investigate after seeing the signs for cider and cake. Well, what a gem, thought we were going into someone's living room. Cedric and the locals were so welcoming. We love cider and were in our element here, so much that we took some on holiday... More
