A beautiful place on the east side of Zanzibar. White and marvellous beach. The place is quite and laidback. For booking excursions/trips I will strongly recommend a local guy in Uroa called Mohamed Aliy (WhatsApp:+255 773432924). He is reliable and offers high quality.

We are going to Mermaids Cove in Uroa Bay early 2019 Are there massages for women, by men in the area? On the beach or in massage parlours? If so, where and what is the price?

We had an amazing time. Amazing food, room, cleanliness and staff, just watch out for The Beach Boys, locals selling excursions on the beach who can be a bit aggressive. Definitely going back

Some of the best souvenir shopping was along the beach in small stands. Great prices, friendly vendors, and lots of variety!

Uroa Bay is a lot quieter than the Northern beaches and perfect for unwinding and watching the locals pass by. The tides are dramatic here but not so bad that one can't swim at least a few daylight hours every day. The sunrise on this...More
