Was taken there by family members. Decided to walk the distance between the two entrances. Was quite beautiful and quite, was just an nice addition to my knowledge and appreciation of Chinese culture, as my wife is Chinese. Will probable visit the park again on my next visit to China.

Large lake-side scenic park around historic volcanic lake. Many nice landscapes & sights. Historic temples, caves, gardens, small boats and a rather good obstacle course offer an enjoyable range of things to do. Lovely area around a volcanic lake. Kudos to the local government for trying to preserve the area, to teach locals and tourists about the geological formation. Felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. Our daughter loved the opportunity to run around.

Huguanyan is a beautiful park with a nice walking track around the lake. It is a great place to ride a bike, run, or just stroll. There are a few historical sites and statues to see and a few restaurants. I would recommend taking a picnic lunch and plan to spend the day on the "beach". It is not a... More
