It's a UNESCO world heritage site, so for sure it has a lot of value, just from a general culture perspective. Like many places in China, weather, pollution, lack of tendering & upkeep, as well as finishing touches are detrimental to many otherwise very worthwhile...More

This is a beautiful park where you can stroll around the lake or take an on/off sightseeing “train” that comes by every 15 minutes. Visit a Buddhist temple, a nunnery, and shrines. There are picnic areas, a museum, a playground, but also places so quiet...More

Lovely area around a volcanic lake. Kudos to the local government for trying to preserve the area, to teach locals and tourists about the geological formation. Felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. Our daughter loved the opportunity to run around.
