    super hotel, can absolutely recommend
Hotel is great in design and food, free sauna, steam bath and hamam. nice to relax and perfect location in the mountains. can recommend. Food tasty and breakfast buffet amazing with a selection and quality over the normal. Very well done. Just need to improve English knowledge at restaurant and speed of service (waiter) to make it a 5 star international hotel

    Place with views, chilling weather
It is one of the highest peaks in Gabala. We expected snow, but unfortunately there wasn’t any snow. However, the place is chilling and has great views of snow covered mountains. The cafe serves good food and drinks. There are a few spots for photographs. Note: you have to change the cable car after 1st stop

    Must visit in all seasons
I would say that it is worth the visit. We initially planned for a 1 hour trip but ended up eventually spending 4 hours here. The cafe is nice with excellent burgers. Make sure you take the cable car and go on the top. The views are spectacular.

    Snowfall and Cable Car Experience
It was my first snowfall and Cable car Experience. It was wonderful. You get ticket for 2 step cable car ticket and start your journey upward. It was raining and when we started reaching on top it was converted to snow. On top you have one resort to heat your self and have coffee, food or drink. They have restroom also. Overall cable car and facility are maintained well. You can plan for stay in resort and make required booking in advance.

    The best resort in Gabala
We had lunch with 15 people of group from Poland in Tufandagh Mountain Resort. The restaurant was located on the top and we used cable car to get there. Amazing view, delicious food and excellent service. I would like to thank you FB Director Rahman Khalilov and hotel's chief Vaqif Rahimov for their great work. We will definitely come back.

Experience the Mt. Titlis of Switzerland in Azerbaijan
If you visit Azerbaijan between October to April this is the must visit location. It almost gives you the experience of the Mt. Titlis in Switzerland at a much lower budgetary Azerbaijan. You can experience a breath taking cable car ride enjoying the mountain views to reach to the top of the Tufandag mountain resort. And the moment you step out you will witness paradise. Its a heaven for people who love snow. You can enjoy the snow make snowman with snow and also take awesome pictures with snow filled mountains around. wait for the fog to fade to get the right pictures. Please ensure to wear warm clothes and waterproof shoes to indulge in snow activities. If you feel real cold you can grab a glass of wine or a hot coffee from the mountain top restaurant.

Glass floor platform-excellent spot for pics
The cable car ride is smooth with no queues. the cable car ride has a midway stop, where one can get down and walkaround and take the car again to go to the top. The view from the top is excellent. But the platform with a glass floor jutting from the mountain top is an excellent spot, more so for pics!

We checked into this hotel hoping that things would improve after our stay at the Hyatt regency Baku.

Unfortunately it was a poor experience. It advertises itself as a 5 star resort but has a long way to go before it meets global standards. It looks nice and clean but that about where it ends.

Check in- no valet service although we did get assistance with our luggage. No information of facilities and the front desk need to definitely take some lessons in how they refer to their guests. I was called ‘lady’ numerous times which came across quite rude.

2. Room - a family suite for 6 only has 1 bathroom and items are not replenished unless you ask- I called down everyday for toilet paper and although this was almost immediately bought up on calling housekeeping, one would expect that they would provide at least 2 rolls. Not so.

There were at least 2 occasions where we got locked into our suite due to a faulty lock system. This was not resolved.

Breakfast- good variety but we were reminded every day without fail that breakfast finishes at 11am. It’s really not what I want to hear every day first thing when it’s already been communicated.

WiFi- non existent- apparently this is because it’s a mountain area.

Restaurants- my husband recieved extremely poor service at the burger station with no cutlery or sauces provided to my son despite him asking for them with an adults having to demand this.

Finally , on our last night we got a call at 11pm asking that the car be moved as they had a an event on.

Azerbaijan on the whole was a great disappointment. It has a long way to go in its service offering and tourism infrastructure to meet global standards. The toilets and service stations throughout the country leave a lot to be desired. Independent travelling is discouraged and guides tours are offered at every corner which is a shame.

50azn per person is too much but the view and the weather is amazing there. Kanat view to yatmish gozel is the best. Unfortunately there is no any safety rules and any other guidelines fir the first skiers.

Nice place with a mountainous view, but in my opinion a bit overrated.
the hotels, restaurants, bars are too expensive, although the service is not that high. Mostly visited by tourists, not many locals, due to prices.

Came here on Jan 1st and view was ok with snow below. Recommend to reach here early, to escape the low temp, 0 degrees today. Need to jump in and jump out of cabin. Might hv given review 5, for full snow covered mountain view. Not sure if June view of tree covered mountain are super or the snow ones

I booked tufandang mountain resort for my 10th and my parents 40th anniversary. I booked a family room for 2 nights from 14th-16th Feb. I was flying from india and to my horror just few hours before i received a emaik stating my reservation has been cancelled. To my horror, i had already arrived in baku and was in the car for qabala and hence in a haste i again booked tufandang resort for same date but this time i had to book deluxe room as family room was not available.
On reaching the resort, i tried a lot with the reception staff( 2 girls whoose name i forgot) to give ne my family room which i had booked but they just said one thing that reservation has been cancelled and no reason given. There was a manager Mr Aziz who was not interested at all in giving hue to whatever i said. He was very rude. I dont know how in hospitality industry a rude guy like him was a manager. His behaviour was very bad, he needa to learn how to respect and be polite.
After a long tiresome arguement, they gave me deluxe room only and not the family room,no sorry, nothing.

The resort is a 5 star resort, the amenities perfect. The room is excellent but the staff needs to learn a lot about hospitality and the whole check in experience just ruined my stay and hence i am giving 1 star.

I request the management to look into the matter and hire staff who are competent and polite enough on check in counter.

Rest all the amenities are very good. The resort is also very beautiful. But sorry, i wont visit again due to the staff which was not at all warm and welcoming.
