What a site to see on a beautiful walk along the cliffs... and then to keep on walking towards Hellnar and go thru the crazy lava fields. What a wicked hike it was! So glad we did it!

Nice hike around the cliffs with one rock window, a crocodille shaped cliff and a lot of nesting birds. Schedule some 40 minutes for the hike.

The views are amazing. Simply amazing. Loved watching the birds settle themselves in between the crevices of the cliffs. Make sure to take your camera!

At Arnastapi there are paths that follow the edge of the cliffs. From the paths and viewpoints, you can see the arch and basalt cliffs as well as a lot of seabirds. Try to be there at high tide to see the waves wash through...More

My wife and I absolutely loved it here. We came here based off suggestions on this site to do the hike to Hellnar. We went on a rainy day so there wasn’t many people around. This place is gorgeous. We walked up and back a...More
