usually a bit suspicious of organized tourist boat trips that advertise Viking sushi, thought it might be a bit naff. To our surprise the commentary was informative, a little overly enthusiastic at times. The Viking Sushi delicious but more importantly simple and quite authentic. The sights visited amazing, really worth doing if you are visiting this part of Iceland.

This tour was great! Snaefellnes landscape is truly fantastic and this tour takes you to the highlights. Very good price for what you get. Next time I visit Iceland I will take this tour again.

I went with Iceland Horizon tours. What a great company this was my third excursion with them. Our tour guide was David, who was very knowledgeable. The tour is a little long especially it its raining. It wasn't as fun because we really couldn't stay out and walk to all the beautiful sites. Because of the rain we could barely... More

During a recent cruise stop in Grundarfjordur, my husband and I took a tour with Snæfellsnes Excursions. It was a great way to enjoy the wonderful scenery of Snæfellsnes Peninsula, while Lisa shared stories about local history and folklore. There were plenty of photo opportunities, with time to get out explore. Even though there were 23 of us on the... More

A great way to see this beautiful peninsula with lots of stops at the main sites and plenty of opportunity to get out and walk for those who choose to do so. On the day we booked it turned out that we were the only two passengers but they still ran the tour for us, even coming to Stykkisholmur petrol... More

Seeing the Icelandic horses up close was delightful, lunch was good at Amarstapi. The weather taking a turn for the worse & making us turn back & not do the full tour was annoying & frustrating!

Snaefellsnes Excursions provided the bus for the trip mentioned above. A skilled and friendly English speaking driver and a very trustworthy and clean bus! Especially when it became icy and windy we felt secure. Even late in the evening, they were willing to drive our group to a place where we saw stunning northern lights.

Wet and wild but starkly beautiful. We were on a coach driven expertly on the very icy roads. Many stops along the way to see the volcanic lava fields, icy peaks, remote coastal areas and villages dotted throughout. even in the rain it has so much appeal.
