Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place is a corner of paradise. We went to the company for a wine tasting, explanation, kindness and availability at the top. The tasting is a well thought out and structured journey; the combinations with the wines are perfect and delicious; we then went to the shop where we tasted the different flavors of honey and creams, all delicious. I highly recommend! We will be back soon!

A must for the Etna tour. When the guide "proposed" the stop, I turned up my nose considering that in these cases it is a mutual sponsorship. However, I changed my mind: excellent products, free tastings and kindness and above all an excellent price-quality ratio. I have purchased quite a lot for gifts to friends and family. Could there be another farm that sells equally good products but is not "sponsored" by the tour operator? Maybe, but I still enjoyed it and I recommend it.

we stopped here on our tour of Mount Etna. They have lots of local oils and honey and nice little gifts to purchase. You can also tasted their wine and sample their olive oils.

We stopped at Oro d'Etna during a tour of Sicily while our cruise ship was docked at Messina. We had the opportunity to sample locally produced honey, olive oil, wine, and more. All of the sampled items were very good. The staff was friendly and quite accommodating. There wasn't pressure to buy anything, although we did end up purchasing a couple bottles of olive oil. Fortunately they had 100ml bottles available so we could carry them on a plane, and they wrapped them up nicely for us to protect the bottles in transit.
If you are in the area or visiting Mt. Etna, definitely consider stopping at Oro d'Etna and at least sampling some of the local foods. We were glad that we did.

The products are ok. The service is awful. We waited in the queue 20 min and after that the seller simply ignored us and started to deal with other customer without any reasonable explanation. After the other seller started to proceed our order we received extremely impolite service.

We stopped in with a large group tour for a honey tasting. The honeys, made by their own bees, were absolutely delicious. Tons of different products to choose from, including wine and pesto. We were able to bring home several types of honey and some delicious sun dried tomatoes and olive oil. Highly recommended if you're in the area

Great for kids, as there are lots of yummy things to taste, Oro d’Etna is a nice destination for anyone interested in learning about Sicilian agriculture. In the shadow of Mt. Etna, this shop allows visitors to tour their honey making facility and taste all their products from wines to honey to olives to candy. Great hosts and fun tastings ensure a good time for people of all ages.
Note: Shop is perfect stop for families either ascending or descending from Mt. Etna’s craters.

A brief stop en route to Mt. Etna. Learn about the making of honey, free tastings without obligation to buy. Great products-honey, wine, liquor, soap! Make sure to bring bubble wrap in your suitcase, because you will want to fill your bag!

Wonderful stop on Sicily tour. Honey bee farm. Guide was sensational! Learned more about bees than I could imagine. It also has a little store where you can taste and purchase a variety of items.
