Whilst a great idea we were a little disappointed with the board walk it self. At the Rockley beach end it just stopped on the beach. We would have thought that it would have carried on another 300 yards or so to the pavement by...More

I did this walk several times, but never at dark since I read about the possibility of muggings in the unlit portions (there is an abandoned old hotel) But during the day, it is very popular with people walking and jogging. As noted, they can't...More

This boardwalk is a nice and relaxing all purpose outdoor location, with a fantastic view of the sea. Unfortunately, it gets partly covered in sand due to the changing tides at some times of the year. I've visited it on more than one location for...More

The boardwalk is great for an early morning run along the sea. There are many other runners and walkers there, so you are in good company. There were also a couple of guys fishing. The drawbacks are that the ends are not close to any...More

A great walk to start the day or savour a sunset. A perfect length at one kilometre we walked this stretch of beach a few times each day, every morning joggers and walkers can be seen getting their daily exercise... What a gym!

We crossed 2 beaches from the Sugar Bay Resort to get to the South Coast Boardwalk but had a great little trek once we got on it. We met joggers, walkers and explorers like ourselves along this walk. We passed a flee market which is...More

This is a nice walk along from Hastings to Rockley Beach. Just wish it was lit up at night so you could do so in the dark....

We have walked many times this trip from Tiki Bar to our hotel in Hastings. The boardwalk makes it very easy to do this. The walk North to Bridgetown is trickier, as there are points you can not access directly from the... More

As the last answer said, it is about a 10 minute drive, or 50 minute walk, 3.9km. In the Barbados heat, I would recommend you drive or if no car, get a white van or government bus, both very cheap, either drops you off at... More

I would say it was a fair old walk to be honest especially in that heat. Get a diddly diddly bus and get off at Artsplash cafe. It starts around there.
