Cold but hidden gem! Reachable via short hike (ca 1h) from Eschbachhuette or via Neualm via Alpinesteig in ca 3h. Grazing cow herds and free ranging rabbits!!! Amazing atmosphere and you can take a swim.

Well documented trails to the lake. Two nice restaurants available. Very beautiful place. Was during our stay not overcrowded.

This is a stunning walk requiring some modest effort but is well worth it. The variety of scenery is great and the hospitality at the Hutte at the top is really good as is the food.
