Green Olive Tours has departures from Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, & Tel Aviv. The company is a cooperative of Israelis and Palestinians, and is a social enterprise focusing on cultural and people-to-people experiences in Palestine an Israel, visiting religious and historical sites, villages, refugee camps, and off-the–beaten track locations.

Our guides are knowledgeable and illuminate the culture, politics and history of the Palestinian and Israeli people. Each day-trip is unique. You might find yourself having lunch with a Palestinian or Bedouin family one day, then meeting a Samaritan priest the next. We offer daily tours and multi-day experiences that include home stays in Bethlehem and Palestinian villages. Our tours benefit the local people.

The tour offers a fascinating combination of history and politics from all important angels. It puts specific sights and locations in context, tying together anecdotes and political/historic events. Our guide Yahav was friendly, nice and most knowledgeable. I think the tour provides a relatively balanced and objective description of reality.

This was truly a life changing experience and tour.........each day was so different. I have always been interested in this area but visiting it and hearing and seeing things first hand is so important. From Jerusalem to Nablus and the West Bank all days were well planned with passionate and most importantly balanced guides. There is a mix of religion and... More

The guide Yemen really showed us a good insight on the complex issues between Israel and Palestina. The Bethlehem tour started relax with some coffee and ended with a nice dinner with really good traditional food! If you are interessted in the political issue and how this effects the daily lifes of the people this is a great tour.

My friend and I wanted to go to Israel and Palestine that went deeper into the issues of conflict and peace facing Palestinians and Israelis ... we did not just want to see the religious sites though we did that too. Green Olive Tours met this need and actually exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the homes of Palestinians in... More

This is a difficult review, because I have very mixed feelings about Green Olive Tours. It is NOT a "normal" Tour Operator, but a group of very motivated, knowledgeable and opinionated people with the main focus on political education. If you know and accept that in advance, then you will be extremely happy with their services. My problem is that... More

Thanks for your feedback. I do apologise for the smaller vehicle that was used for less than half your trip. Most of our clients travel with one suitcase and hand luggage which would have fit nicely in the rear of the car. You didn't mention the level of comfort during the rest of the trip, which I hope was at... More

I highly recommend Green Olive Tours. I spent 5 days with Green Olive Tours and all their guides were excellent. The days were well structured, with a good mix of historic, religious and political sites. There were plenty of opportunities for toilet stops and coffees, and good places found for lunch each day. I am really glad that I stayed... More

During our stay in Ramallah my wife and I took a few daily tours with Green Olive Tours: Jericho, Qumran & Dead Sea, Jerusalem Old City, Hebron & Bethlehem, Negev Desert and Bedouin Market. All tours were well organised, tour guides were well informed and friendly. We had a pleasure to travel on one tour with Mr Fred Schlomka, CEO... More

Prior to our visit to Israel we had decided to visit Palaistine as well as we wanted to have a closer look to what we read about on the internet. The tour itself was a bit slow and not exactly what I expected. Photos and again photos of the wall then coffee in a touristic shop, then lunch and hang... More

I will strongly recommend the Bethlehem Hebron Green Olive Tour. It is a unique opportunity to absorb everything you can see, listened to or feel. I´ve learned a lot and had experiences I will never forget. Also I couldn´t have asked for a better tour guide. Nothing we can read on a book or article is comparable to feel it... More

Unfortunately we travelled on a holiday when the Cave of Machpelah was closed, but the tour was informative and interesting. This is a political tour and it heavily slants towards the Palestinian cause. The guides were great and informative. At Bethlehem we visited the nativity church and then drive to the separation wall filled with stories from a Palestinian perspective.... More
