Glad to have an Arabic speaker with me - it's a small museum but gives a good overview of the poet's life, and great to have the possibility to buy books in English in the museum shop!

Mahmoud Darwish is an iconic poet, not only in the Palestinian and Arab literature history also in the world history. this place is dedicated to his memory, where his remains buried. Great architecture, nice gardens, lovely exhibitions and late events. recommended !

We got lucky and the kind staff offered us a free english guided tour. She was very informative and answered all our questions about this brilliant Poet's life.

The museum is beautiful and peaceful. I wanted to read more of his poetry and understand his story. I could see that there are regular activities here but none on my day of visit. I would say go so that you appreciate the beautiful writing...More

We got there well past opening time to find most of it closed. The gardens etc were lovely but the exhibition was limited, especially if you don't read Arabic. The gift shop was closed so I can't say anything about that.
