Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really a cozy and relaxing place, the weather was good so we sat outside.
Delicious food with a dispute. Nice size of the portions. Nice and friendly staff. Adjust waiting time on the food.

There was a hidden courtyard inside - easy to miss, and that’s where we had lunch. Great cafe there and some specialty shops that can be accessed from inside or out

In the centre of the town you can find this whole block of very old buildings now containing commercial activities including a restaurant and shops

Ystad is a pleasant quiet town with architecture akin to Stratford-upon-Avon. There are a number of quaint streets and roads with half timbered houses which can be admired. Walking around is peaceful and Per Helsas Gard is one of the most significant sights. However unless I was in the area I would not make a major detour to visit the town.

Wasn't aware this was a location or tourist stop, but we happened upon several of these brick/timber buildings walking through Ystad. There is one across from our hotel, for example, and another down the street (see photo). They must be so old (1700s) as they are marked by (outward) bowing in places, they are a tad shifted/sunk in other places, and just altogether bent ... these are either leftovers from Per Helsa's farm or just similar buildings of the time: "Per Helsa's farm was originally one of the commercial estates which grew out in the outskirts of the city during the Middle Ages."

It is worth coming here for a while or saving some time for a meal among the half-timbered houses from the 17th century. In addition to cafes, you will also find small shops, studios and workshops of artists and craftsmen.
