it's like 30 mins drive from the city. a famous archaeological site. mostly an ancient Buddhist monastery site. there is a museum also colocated here. however, things could have been maintained and kept in a better form. must visit place for the history buffs.

Some archaeologist has places a bottle of old monk rum in the museum display thinking it is a 7th century artifact. Must visit for just that alone! :D

An Excellent Historical Place. There is a Museum too where ancient collection of different mud made things like statue and so on are stored.
