Carnfunnock Country Park, near Larne, covers 191 hectares of mixed woodland, colourful gardens, walking trails and spectacular coastline, with panoramic views of the Antrim Coast and North Channel.The walled garden with its unique sundials and wooden sculptures is open all year round along with a maritime themed outdoor adventure playground, golf driving range and academy, way-marked walks, orienteering course, geocaching, wildlife garden, public toilets and picnic sites. From March / April to October there are attractions to suit all ages: a maze in the shape of Northern Ireland, a family fun zone with miniature railway, bouncy castle, bungee run, remote control boats / trucks, bungee trampolines, WOW balls and 18 hole mini golf course; a children's activity centre with snack stop, face painting, outdoor games including putting,table tennis and draughts; a touring caravan park and camp site; 9 hole golf course; barbecue areas and a modern visitor centre with gift shop and coffee shop.

The kids with a ball and some sun, it's all you need.Maybe they could let dogs walk on a lead in a few more places.Of course there are always a few who leave their litter,I'd stone them to death and the park would be perfect

Went here with my partner and 2 kids. Great park. Loads to do. Well kept and tidy. We brought a picnic and so can't comment on cafe but was really busy with people in it. We are goin again this weekend.

Absolutely fantastic park hard to beat with the scenery, forests adventures, the helpful maps and signs well posted, but a big negative no card machine in the main sweet shop beside the park, whats that about kids highly disappointed as I to listen to them...More

This place has it all! pay to park or park free on sea front and walk up hill. Fitness trail, walled garden, maze, golf driving,kids train and rides,woodland walks, labelled plants,great views,cafe etc - something for everyone

Excellent facilities for all the family playpark for children under 12. Mini golf driving range train rides and much more for older children.Walled garden country walks and a Hegde maze.. absolutely a credit to Larne town highly recommended

Site is poor. One water tap. Badly sloped and no respite from the sunrise at 5.00am at the end of May. Anyone who has been camping a while understands the need for adequate shade. The parking area seemed to be a better place to camp....More

This country park is very beautiful. There is lots to do and see here. It is very clean and safe to visit. I would profusely tell people to visit here!

Took two dogs here for some where different. There were zones that were no dogs allowed, on lead and off lead zones. We followed the blue path up into the forest behind. The views from the top of hill looking over belfast Lough was misty...More

Group of adults for a couple of hours walking on a Sunday morning.Views are spectacular, plenty to see along the way. Great park for children, and lovely cafe with good choice of food. Easy to spend several hours or a whole day here

You can bring dogs. There are different zones where dogs are and aren't allowed.
