We booked this trip online a week before our departure. Ours friends were also in a resort close by so decided to book 4 hours in the ‘family boat’. So 4 adults and two VERY excited 6 year olds meet at the lovely restaurant overlooking Kapparis water fun centre. We arrived just before midday (2pm booking) and noted the boat we had rented was out constantly, dragging inflatables behind it. Then 40 mins before departure I receive a text message stating the weather is too rough and I should rebook for tomorrow. The weather was clear with a very slight breeze. I walked over and was immediately directed to an older chap who said they were expecting a storm. I looked out at the mill pond and suggest we will be fine. He suggested he expected the ‘storm’ should have passed last night but it was unsafe for us to head out. I explained I had seen the boat being used constantly for the time we had been there as well as the jet ski’s without issue. “So sir I cannot take the risk with my boat.”
I walk back to the restaurant to tell the two 6 year olds they wouldn’t be going out in the boat they had excitedly discussed days before. I mention to the restaurant staff our predicament and they actually laugh about and potential storm.
In my frustration I leave a google review. I then receive a text message stating my review was unfair and I should consider my family’s safety. At the same time the boat I rented was dragging people round on an inflatable… I took picture at this moment for pure comedy value.
This booking a boat online is a con. They have ONE boat, 3 jet skis and a few pedalos. The reviews are based on people turning up without booking and using what they have. I have attached a couple of pictures to demonstrate the conditions.
They suggested in their reply I was prepared to risk my family’s safety. This is not the case, I would never do such a thing. They are just maximising their profit by using the boat to tow inflatables. If safety was their concern that boat wouldn’t have moved…. We stayed at the beach for the rest of the day and saw the boat being used plenty of times to add to my frustrations.
40 euro in taxis, 140 euro in food in preparation for this trip only to be disappointed. The weather was perfect, a slight wind and clear skies all round. The 2 boys were gutted. I was annoyed at being conned.
Please consider this review before booking.

Thanks for your review, im very sorry you could not rent the boat that day. Weather forecast is not in our control and our main priority is SAFETY.
A few points to make it clear:
- The forecast for the day was strong wind from North-East up to 30 Knots coming from blue lagoon (which was your destination)
- We actually have 4 boats (check our website).
- You did not mention that you don’t have much experience with boats.
- If we were looking to “maximising our profit” we would have obviously rented the boat to you.
Your review makes no sense. We had refunded your booking at 100%, 1.5h before the actual rent time. The reason was because strong wind forecast and your low experience with boats which made it not safe to navigate to the blue lagoon with your family.

Fantastic. Nice quick simple briefing and then told to ‘go play’. Good safe jet skis, had my 12yo on my back who loved it. They reduce in speed if too close to others which is a nice touch. Fantastic time had by all.

We had a one hour kayak with one adult and a 11 year old fit child. We had fun enjoying the small wave and the freedom of sea. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I suggest going left from the jetty towards picturesque rocks and caves.

We hired a 19ft powerboat for four hours and had a really good time. You are quite limited as to where you can go I.e go out turn right (the north is left so no no no!) and down to the blue lagoon but it’s enough. Nice friendly staff bit the briefing is limited so ask questions.
We only used 30 euros in fuel so that was good and the boat was 250 euros.
Highly recommended for a different experience.

Very friendly staff with a whole range of watersports available.
We have hired the family motor.boat, pedalos, kayaks, donut and 'Crazy Sofa' so far all have been fantastic fun and good value. Thoroughly recommend this company.

Really great service here. Sampled all they had. Made to feel welcome and looked after. Good safety briefings, always second checks. Never had so much fun being dragged about in the sea by a speed boat. My cheeks still hurt from smiling and laughing and smashing over the wake of the boat.

We got home yesterday from an amazing holiday in Cyprus. We used Kapparis water fun 3 times for ringos(crazy) Sofa(Great fun) & Luxury boat hire(incredible).
As good as it all was, the friendliness of the guys and particularly the guy who was the manager/owner made it all an all round 5 star experience.
Great customer interaction and funny…..
Can not speak highly enough of these guys 😊

Hired a boat for a few hours to travel down the coast to blue lagoon and back. Had a fab time, boat was large enough for 7, there was a map to see what was on the way. Wasn't too expensive, would certainly do it again, just make sure that you book early enough as they are busy.

We hired a boat for the day and the guys were so friendly, gave us all the info we needed and we were on our way. Hung out at Cape Greco and had lots of fun. Even saw a turtle!
