The sculpture is not as elaborate as Konark sun temple and as we understood that this temple is constructed like Konark temple. Yes, the red color of the stones stands out. During hot sun it is very difficult to walk on hot stones!

If you like historical architecture and planning to visit there, trust me it worth it. Great combination of nature with great architecture. Pretty garden is around the temple premises and can rest there and have some picnic time.

The architecture of the temple is beautiful and this place is worth visiting. Sun temple is little away from Gwalior Main city. No entry fees. The photography inside the temple is not allowed.
