Very comprehensive and well maintained considering it’s a GOVT museum...an eclectic collection of natural resources..flora and fauna...the surprise package is a unique Doll Museum...do visit

This is very good place to visit in Imphal. The culture of Imphal and its tribal history is mirrored by this museum.

The state museum is located in the mid of the city. Shaheed minar, museum and ladies market are situated at walking distance and hence can be seen together. museum of not that high standard but can be visited.

We went to the museum inside the Kangla fort which is small and nothing much great about it.portraits of various kings, some armoury etc are displayed

Very standard museum. Nothing special but some interest in the local history. Not easy to maintain due to the weather and often wet season. Need someone to help explain and place this in perspective.
