Must visit. Initially looked like it was waste going there as we could not understand to do but then we unravelled its true beauty and went for the second time also.
The place gives a picturesque view of mountains and start of major waterfall.
We walked under the bridge and discovered the flowing water and the color of the stones under it and it was a Eureka moment.

The whole experience of different shades of stones under crystal clear water, which was a silent path before it fell from high mountains and was a starting point of the waterfall.
The yellow colored grass, along side of this silently flowing water, added to its beauty.
The kids plunged into the water and played there for 45 minutes. The clear blue skies and greenery all around was a treat to the eyes.

We ended up spending 2 hours in the park, exploring its hidden beauty and the scenic places.

Do spend some time in the nature and I am sure you will fall in love with this place.

Eco park is mostly popular to view the origins of Seven sister falls and plains of Bangladesh across. The park has an entry charge for both people and vehicles. However the park is very poorly kept and not maintained at all. On cloudy days you cannot see any views of Bangladesh but you can see the Seven sister falls falling below with 2-3 falls visible from here.

The park is well maintained and is good picnic spot. There is a water harvesting structure and a waterfall as the park is located on a cliff. It is better to visit it in the evening as during noon it is generally quite empty. I visited during January when there were no rains and as a result the waterfall didn't had much water.

Nothing to do here. Dry and barren. Very hot in the afternoon. No facilities at all. There is nothing "Eco" in this park. But it's a fun place for lower class noise making bengalis.

The park is a picnic spot. But one can climb down to the bottom of a nearby waterfall. Its a bit risky even in summers to climb down, but its worth.
The park offers splendid view if there is no fog.

A totally worthless part of Cherrapunjee trail. For the car+adult+child+camera+video camera fees they charge (comes to about Rs. 115 for family of 4), it would appear that this place has some sights to see and capture. NOT SO. It is in total disrepair, there are no park facilities and practically no landscaping or greenry (barring wild grass in the rains).
The local administration should take note and shut it down or give it to another worthy contractor to convert it into atleast a decent park to sit down. Shameful for the Cherrapunjee and Meghalaya Tourist Departments.

From entry it doesnt look to be a big place, but when you entr inside, you can see a huge park. Park was too big and hence not well maintained. We had lunch at the restuarant there and it was good food at reasonable price
