I have been to Tuscany many times and have always passed this little town on the way to somewhere else. So glad I stopped here this time. Really lovely gardens and wall walks have lovely views of the Val D'Orcia countryside.

If you are planning to visit Val D'Orcia that could be your perfect location for daily trips to all of the most famous towns and sceneries in the area. Located really in the heart of Val D'Orcia, San Quirico D'Orcia is often neglected in comparison to Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena, etc. However it is actually a very charm small town... Our tour group stopped by for a visit of a few hours here. We walked along the cobblestone streets, going in and out of shops, sipping cappuccino and enjoying the beautiful Italian weather and town. The people were so friendly, willingly let us use their restroom even if we didn't purchase anything. Definitely recommend

We had a great 1 bedroom apartment (3rd floor) in town overlooking the garden. Quiet at night but lots of sun when you opened the shutters. Good location for exploring all of Tuscany south of Sienna.

San Quirico is a quaint village that should be explored. The ancient church is very interesting and there is a garden hiddenoff the main squre that must be visited.

My husband and I decided to explore less known tourist destinations, so we drove through little country roads in beautiful Val d'Orcia. San Quirico is a good sized walled town, very walkable, with no steep slopes. We found a car park easily, right next to the entrance, and it was free. The town is charming with many quaint shops, cafe... More

This is a a picturesque old walled town in Tuscany and well worth a visit. You can wander around the very clean well kept streets.

There are a few interesting buildings to see but other than that nothing really special. Worth stopping only if you are traveling by.
