We went as a group of 7 - from 18 months to 65 years old. The temperature outside was about 4C although lots of sunshine but there was something amazing about swimming through large pools of hot water and looking over the historic town. You need to wear shower caps or swimming caps so don't expect to look glamorous. After... More

Very small, but the waters do their job. You can dip your feet on the warm waters or pay to go on the natural water pool. I had not researched enough about this place, had I done that, I would have scheduled the morning at the pool.

Only locals know about this place, because it is amazing. A tiny village with great Tuscan atmosphere for relaxation. You might want to stay at the spa hotel to complete your experience. I would never leave if I didn't have to.

Bagno Vignoni is so quick and easy to reach from Pienza, Montalcini et Montepulchiano- after your visit to the lovely village around the large thermal pool and springs, and lunch in one of the many lovely restaurants there, make sure to look at the ancient baths and the view below. But most importantly, from the car park, walk down the... More

BV is not the biggest place in the world but I'd very pretty especially around the central bath. We dropped lucky and found free parking and had a wander. The warm water streams are useful for tired feet and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the main bath. As always you also get stunning views of Tuscany.

A beautiful small village was an amazing surprise. Situated around the hot springs and nice restaurants in the vicinity. Well worth a visit.

Nostalghia, a 1983 movie: The Russian poet Andrei Gorchakov, accompanied by guide and translator Eugenia, is traveling through Italy researching the life of an 18th-century Russian composer. In an ancient spa town (Bagno Vignoni) ... history and meaning of family life merge in a dreamy thermal walk with a candle. Seeing the place was, to me, like living the movie... More

Great town to stop into while in Montalcino. Be sure to stock up on the local Perfume called Bagno Vignoni and a few diffusers
