Plaza delle Sorgenti, Bagno Vignoni and the Mullini is all in the same place. I was confused by the posts on this. The town is tiny with shops around the pool in the main plaza, which is the pool instead of a plaza. Then you walk towards the hills away from the town and you will find the old mill... More

It's certainly not the typical Italian piazza because it's water filled, instead of a cobblestone surface. Seems to be from a thermal bath source and bubbles are seen in the huge pool. It makes for a restful and pleasant scene when in town. Part of the enjoyment of San Quirici D'Orcia. ...

Worth a visit if you've got some time left. The bagno looks like an artificial little lake with houses and a church around. There are some souvenir shops, bars and restaurants around. Even during the high season, it looks rather quit. When we where there in the afternoon, restaurants were closed (between 3-7 PM), only a couple of bars were... More

We visited this pretty little town after lunch in Pienza in mid August. We found it to be quite quiet. In the Piazza there is a large thermal pool where you can see the thermal water bubbling up. There is not much to do except buy an ice cream and watch the world go by.
