La Vallée des Tortues est un parc zoologique situé à Sorède (66) à 10 min d'Argelès-sur-Mer. Il présente une collection de 500 tortues d'une trentaine d'espèces différentes venues du monde entier. Depuis 2017, le parc s'agrandit et accueille d'autres animaux sauvages : suricates, tatous, serpents, et bien d'autres à venir! Animations et visites guidées chaque jour (horaires à consulter sur le site internet http://www.lavalleedestortues.fr/ ). -Une zone animale -une zone de jeux pour enfants et de détente pour les parents -une zone de forêt rafraîchissante avec brumisateurs l'été -une zone fumeuse -de nombreuses zones ombragées -possibilité de pique-niquer sur place ou de consommer au snack -fontaine d'eau potable et wc -chiens autorisés en laisse -organisation d'anniversaire, de groupe, d'écoles et de centres de loisirs ainsi que de matinées "passion soigneur"

An interesting little place with many different tortoises and turtles. Chose not to go on the guided tour as it was only in French but later we spotted they were petting the giant tortoises so we tagged along. Totally missed what was being said but...More

We are tortoise lovers so had to visit! And had an enjoyable afternoon. Parking is free and there is loads and if you wanted could have a picnic under the trees, as some do. We wandered round the sanctuary seeing all the different tortoises, there...More

Pleasant 2-3 hours looking at any different types of tortoise. Quite fascinating to watch. Even kept our teenager interested for. Couple of hours.

This is the second time we have been with our grandchildren and they love it. Lots to see and the children's play area is a great hit. A large number of different tortoises to see as well as turtles and meerkats. Well worth a visit

A great time at the park, watching all kind of turtles, especially the elephant turtles! Superb ending with the opportunity to hold a snake! Absolute must do.
