About Sealife Adventures
Sealife adventures run whale watching and wildlife boat trips from our private pontoon and car park on the mainland near Oban. We run 3,4 and 5 hour trips which are suitable for all ages. All our trips include the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool. We are the longest established operator in the area (26 years), our owner skipper David has a degree in marine biology. Our stable spacious boat is the most powerful in the area and holds the highest certificate of seaworthiness.

Another very enjoyable trip with David aboard his excellent boat. As always David was very knowledgable and his long experience of the area meant that we saw seals, an otter, wild goats, red deer, white tailed eagles and numerous sea birds. Thoroughly recommended.

Given time to look and absorb both the landscape and nature in this stunning area. David's years of boat craft and marine knowledge were second to none. He has dived these waters to record the changes in marine status in this area for many years starting from plankton upwards! We were blessed with a perfect clear calm day and able to appreciate the surrounding landscape too. Sealife Adventures take the wildlife they have the fortune to get close to seriously. Quietness was required as we watched harbour seals, sea eagles, seabirds, wild goats and deer. Cetaceans have yet to make an appearance. The boat had plenty of room to move about and excellent binoculars supplied. The hot drinks and KitKat were much appreciated on the return journey. Thoroughly recommended.

What a wonderful experience! We knew as we were very early (if not the first) in the season but we loved this! Emma, the new wildlife tour guide, was great - She is going to be fantastic. David, the skipper was patient and knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see a range of wildlife including many chubby seals, a brief sneak at a pod of porpoises, many bird species as well as wild goats and the red deer. We also got to see where the whirlpools form in latter months which was a bonus as we didnt think we would see this as part of our trip. Covid measures were being followed but we were still able to be treated to a warming brew and a kit-kat! If we saw as much as we did during the very start of the season, then anyone following us in the year is going to have an incredible experience!

Sealife Adventure of a Lifetime. We were lucky enough to see, Otters, Porpoises, Sea Eagles, Minky Whales, Fallow Deer and Not forgetting Seals. Not forgetting the Corryvreckan Whirlpool made it an Unforgettable Day. The Two Marine Biologists running the Trip David the Captain and Shona his Assistant were very professional and gave us in depth information regarding all the Wildlife we encountered and made it very interesting. The 4 hour trip flew by and I would definitely recommend this trip. Wow what an unforgettable experience. Thank you….

We were hoping to see whales but knew this might not be possible. The team knew where to look and gave us the best chance. Due to their experience we saw Minky whales, porpoises, two White-Tailed eagles perched in trees, seals, feral goats and an Osprey. Wonderful, couldn't have asked for more.
